DINAJPUR, August 4, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 1,000 shop owners and salesmen hardest-hit by the lockdown situation got food assistance as gift of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina here today.

On behalf of the Premier, Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Whip Iqbalur Rahim distributed the food assistance at a simple function, organised by District Administration, at Shishu Academy auditorium this afternoon through maintaining the health rules.

 Deputy Commissioner Khaled Mohammod Jaki, Police Super Mohammod Anowar Hossain, BPM, Sadar upazila Parishad Chairman Md Emdad Sarker, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mortuja Al Mueid, AL leaders Raihan Kobir Shohag and SM Khalekuzzaman Raju were present, among others.

The whip urged people to be aware of any rumor over Covid-19 vaccine in the function.
