DHAKA, Aug 4, 2021 (BSS) – Valiant freedom fighter Alemuddin Hawlader, father of Ahmad Rasel joint general secretary of Amra Muktijoddar Santan central committee, died of COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at a city hospital last night.

He breathed his last at around 11:30pm on Tuesday at the ICU of COVID-19 dedicated hospital under Dhaka North City Corporation. He was 69,  family sources said.

He left behind his wife, three sons and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

The valiant freedom fighter was buried at his family graveyard at Kuchiamora village under Madaripur Sadar upazila after the namaj-e-janaza at his village home at 11:30am. He was given a guard of honour by the district administration.
 
Leaders of Amra Muktijoddar Santan central committee expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Alemuddin Hawlader.  They conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
