DHAKA, June 22, 2021 (BSS)- Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee today paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the 72nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League (AL).
 
A press release issued by the National Implementation Committee said “We have finally achieved an independent and sovereign Bangladesh through the great liberation war of 1971 after a long struggle through the organizational activities of Bangladesh Awami League under the leadership of Bangabandhu.”
 
The celebration of the 72nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League on the golden jubilee of independence has therefore a special significance to the Bengali nation, the release added.
