JAMALPUR, July 30, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Murad Hassan today warned that any irregularity and negligence would not be tolerated in constructing the houses for landless people as the prime minister’s gift.
 
“The government is going ahead with zero tolerance policy against those who want to thwart this great initiative,” he said this while distributing foods and planting saplings in Sarishabari’s Asrayan project area here.
 
Murad said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is providing shelters to the landless and homeless families of the country through the Asrayan project.
 
Mentioning that this kind of initiative is unprecedented in the world, he asked the authorities concerned to work with honesty and sincerity to make this initiative of the premier a success.
 
The state minister said everyone should plant fruit bearing, wooden and medicinal saplings to maintain the balance of nature.
 
Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner Morsheda Zaman, Sarishabari Upazila Awami League President Chanowar Hossain Badsha and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed were, among others, present.
