DHAKA, July 28, 2021 (BSS) - Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr
Benazir Ahmed today urged all to project the true history of the
liberation war from generation to generation so that people can know
authentic information about it in the future.

   "We have to uphold the authentic history of the liberation war
before the next generation which was happened under the leadership of
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman," he said.

    He was speaking virtually at the inauguration ceremony of the
newly constructed Liberation War Sculpture 'Nirvik', newly constructed
Sudharam Model Police Station, Sonapur Police Outpost and Police Lines
Nari Barrack Building in Noakhali district as the chief guest from the
Police Headquarters here.

   He also unveiled the cover of a book ' Muktijuddhe Police-Noakhali
Zila' there.

  With Noakhali District Superintendent of Police Md Alamgir Hossain
in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by freedom fighter
Mostafa Kamal, Chattogram Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Md
Anwar Hossain, Dhaka Range DIG and Bangladesh Police Liberation War
Museum President Habibur Rahman and Noakhali Deputy Commissioner
Mohammad Khorshed Alam Khan.
