DHAKA, July 27, 2021 (BSS) - Awami Juba League today organized a milad and doa mahfil on the occasion of the 51st birthday of Sajeeb Wazed Joy, grandson of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and ICT Affairs Advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  

The milad  was held at the central office of Juba League on Bangabandhu Avenue, said a press release.

After the milad, trees were planted on the Mohanagar Natyamancha premises in the capital with the initiatives of Awami Juba League leaders.

Juba League General Secretary Mohammad Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

He said, “Bangabandhu's family has created a unique place in the hearts of the people of this country through public welfare work . Sajeeb Wazed Joy is not only the worthy successor of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina but also the name of a bright star in Bangladesh.”

Juba League presidium members Dr Khaled Shawkat Ali, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam and Moazzem Hossain, Joint-General Secretary Subrata Pal, Organizing Secretary Mohammad Saifur Rahman Sohag and Mohammad Zahir Uddin Khasru. Acting President of Dhaka Metropolitan Juba League North Zakir Hossain Babul, Acting President of Dhaka Metropolitan Juba League South Main Uddin Rana, Acting General Secretary HM Rezaul Karim Reza, Publicity Secretary of Juba League Joydev Nandi, Office Secretary Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman Masud, Deputy Office Secretary Md Delwar Hossain Shahzada were also present at the mahfil.
