Anisul extends Eid greetings, asks people to follow health guidelines

DHAKA, July 21, 2021 (BSS) - Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today extended greetings to people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and urged the people to follow health guidelines properly.

“On this sacred day, I request you all for praying to Almighty Allah as we can return to our normal life after getting rid of the coronavirus pandemic,” he said in a greeting message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Anisul said: “We are celebrating the Eid-ul-Azha at the time when both fatality and the infection   rate of  Covid-19 are on the surge in the  country.”

Mentioning that around 18,000 people have already died from  Covid-19 in Bangladesh, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to bereaved family members.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given highest priority for Covid-19 treatment including vaccination to face the pandemic situation.

Besides, lockdown has been enforced in phases and various  steps including providing financial and food aid to distressed, poor and jobless people have been taken , he added.

“You all celebrate the Eid   with maintaining health protocols  set  by the government. You should remain alert so that you or any of your family members would not be infected with the deadly virus,” he said.

He wished sound health and long life of all.
