DHAKA, July 19, 2021 (BSS) - The leaders of Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association (BAEA) today greeted Prof Dr Shamsul Alam for being appointed as the new state minister for planning.
President of BAEA and former senior secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Sajjadul Hassan, BAEA vice-president and senior secretary of Ministry of Agriculture Md Mesbahul Islam and BAEA Secretary General Mizanul Haque Kajol, and other leaders greeted Dr Alam with bouquets at his office at the Ministry of Planning today, said a press release.
In a message, the BAEA leaders highly praised the talents, relentless efforts and integrity of Dr Shamsul Alam for his role in framing the country’s 6th, 7th and 8th Five Year Plans, Perspective Plan, Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, and other important plans during his role as a member of the General Economics Division (GED) of the Planning Commission.
