DHAKA, July 11, 2021 (BSS) - Nine officers with the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been transferred, said  a circular signed by Dhananjay Kumar Das, deputy secretary of the police-1 branch of the public security division of the home ministry today.
 
Among the nine transferred officers -- Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, in charge of Dhaka Metropolitan's Gulshan Division, was transferred to Bogra district as SP while Bogra SP Md Ali Ashraf Bhunyan was transferred to Barisal Metropolitan Police, Chittagong Range SP Saidur Rahman was transferred to Pirojpur district as SP, Pirojpur SP Hayatul Islam Khan was transferred to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
 
Police headquarters’ AIG Md Golam Azad Khan was transferred to Manikganj as police super while Manikganj’s SP Rifat Rahman Shameem was transferred to DMP, another police headquarters’ AIG Md Shahidul Islam was transferred to Noakhali as SP, Noakhali SP Alamgir Hossain was transferred to DMP Special Branch (SB).
 
The circular added that SP Sakhawat Hossain of  the 4th unit of the industrial police was transferred to unit number one.
