  Rahmatganj earn fighting draw against Sheikh Jamal DC
 
  DHAKA, Feb 17, 2022 (BSS)- It was an impressive performance as Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society, who came from behind, forced Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club to play an exciting 3-3 goals draw in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League Football held today (Thursday) at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet.
 
  With the day's outcome, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club secured eight points from four matches while Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society opened their account with one point playing the same number of matches.
 
  In the day's match, Gambian forward Solomon King Kanform scored two goals and defender Mohammad Atikuzzaman supported him with a lone goal for Sheikh Jamal DC, who led the first half by 2-0 goals.
 
  Tajikistan defender Siyovush Asrorov, Nigerian striker Sunday Chizoba and Ivorian forward Lancine Tour, netted a lone goal apiece for Rahmatganj MFS.
 
  Sheikh Jamal DC began to dominate in the beginning of match and got reap as Solomon King scored the first goal in the 23rd minute of the match. He doubled the lead scoring his second goal for Sheikh Jamal DC in the 44th minute of the match.
 
  After resumption, Rahmatganj staged a brilliant fight back in the match when Siyovush Asrorov reduced the margin scoring the first goal converting a spot kick in the 68th minute.
 
  Mohammad Atikuzzaman again increased the margin scoring the third goal for Sheikh Jamal DC in the 75th minute while Sunday pulled one back scoring the second goal for Rahmatganj in the 90th minute of the match.
 
  At one stage it was seemed Sheikh Jamal were going to win the match but probably there were more drama to remain as Ivorian forward Lancine Tour, denied Sheikh Jamal's certain victory by equalizing the margin scoring the third goal for Rahmatganj in the 90+4th minute of the match.
 
  Sheikh Jamal DC clearly dominated the first half of the match while Rahmatganj staged a brilliant fight back in the second half to snatch point from Sheikh Jamal DC.
 
  Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club earlier beat Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-1 goal in their league opening match, blanked Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 3-0 goals in their second match and played out to a goalless draw with Police Football Club in their third match of the league.
 
  While the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society lost to Chittagong Abahani Limited by 1-2 goals in their league opening match, suffered a 1-3 goal defeat to Saif Sporting Club in their second match and went down a 0-3 goal defeat to Abahani Limited, Dhaka in their third match of the league.
 
  Friday's matches: Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited vs Abahani Limited, Dhaka at Bashundhara Sports Complex and Saif Sporting Club vs Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj. Both the matches kick off at 3 pm.
