CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY, Aug 23, 2026 (BSS)- The Chittagong University (CU) has announced the tentative dates for the admission test of 2026-27 academic year's first year (Honours) programme while the test will begin on January 29.

Meanwhile, the university authorities have also released the schedule for online application submission. Prospective students will be able to apply online from November 15 to December 10.

The university announced the schedule in a press release signed by its Deputy Registrar (Academic) and Member Secretary of the Admission Committee S M Akbar Hossain today.

The notice states that the tentative admission test dates were set based on decision no. 1 adopted at today's meeting of the committee overseeing admission activities for the 2026-27 academic year's first-year Honours programme.

According to the notice, the admission test for Unit A will be held on January 30, 2027 (Saturday) while Unit B on February 5 (Friday), Unit C on January 29 (Friday) and Unit D on February 6 (Saturday).
 
In addition, the test for sub-unit B-1 will be held on February 3 (Wednesday), sub-unit B-2 on February 4 (Thursday) and sub-unit D-1 on February 8 (Monday).

As in previous years, the admission tests will be held simultaneously in three divisional cities-- Chattogram (Chittagong University campus), Dhaka (DhakaUniversity campus), and Rajshahi (Rajshahi University campus)-- on the same dates and times. 

However, the admission tests for sub-units B-1, B-2 and D-1 will be held only on the CU campus.
