DHAKA, Aug 13, 2026 (BSS) - The first ever three-day "Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026" will be held from September 12 to 14, 2026, at the Novo Theatre here under the management of the National Museum of Science and Technology.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to attend the inaugural ceremony of the event as chief guest, said a ministry release today.

To ensure smooth holding of the programme, a preparatory meeting was held at the conference room of the Ministry of Science and Technology yesterday afternoon, with Science and Technology Secretary Md Anwar Hossain in the chair.

Senior officials of the ministry, officials of the concerned departments and agencies, including the Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology, attended the meeting.

Representatives of Spillbound Communications, which is responsible for the event management of the programme, were also present.

The meeting was informed that young researchers, innovators and scientists from various universities, as well as science-based organisations and institutions, will showcase stalls at the three-day Innovation Fair.
