DHAKA, Aug 11, 2026 (BSS) - The government has decided that the Bangabhaban, Cabinet Division, Prime Minister's Office, Planning Commission and Finance Division will meet the majority of their electricity needs through solar power for official activities.

The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard on Monday.

According to the circular, other government offices will also have to maximize the use of solar power in phases.
