DHAKA, Aug 09, 2026 (BSS)- Prime Minister’s Assistant Personal Physician Dr ANM Monowarul Kadir visited Prof Dr Mowdud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, President of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) and Convener of the BNP Media Cell, who underwent a coronary stent placement at a private hospital today.  

Following the operation, Pavel was transferred to the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for observation and further treatment, said a press release.

The premier’s physician talked with the physicians regarding the patient’s treatment progress and emphasized ensuring that all necessary medical care is provided with the highest priority.

Dr. Zahurul Haque, Vice Principal of Rangpur Medical College, Dr Zahirul Islam, Resident Medical Officer of Narayanganj Victoria Hospital, Dr Rashedul Hasan Ripon, Assistant Professor of the National Institute of Disease of the Chest and Hospital and Dr Javed Hossain were present.
