RAJSHAHI, Aug 9, 2026 (BSS)- The certificate awarding ceremony and innovative 
project exhibition of Rajshahi Division's 'AI Navigator 2026' was held today 
at Rajshahi University (RU) under the initiative 'AI for All' by Send A 
Little Hope.
 
At the same event, a new initiative for teachers, the 'AI Confident' 
programme, was also launched.
 
The event was inaugurated at 11 am today at the Senate Building by the chief 
guest Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Md. Faridul Islam.
 
Present as special guests at the event were Pro-VC Prof Mamunur Rashid, 
Bangladesh Representative of AI for All- AI Navigator Sadman Sakib Chowdhury, 
and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Send A Little Hope Mujahidul Islam.
 
The programme was presided over by the Director of RU Career Counselling and 
Development Centre (CCDC) Prof Nurul Momen. 

Among others, the Director of the Office of International Affairs Prof 
Muhammad Sajjadur Rahim also spoke there.
 
At the event, students of Rajshahi University exhibited various innovative 
projects under the 'AI Navigator 2026' programme. 

The VC awarded certificates to the students who successfully completed the 
training.
 
Later, in a session titled 'Navigating the AI Future', discussions were held 
on various aspects of the future of artificial intelligence, prompt 
engineering, Teachable Machine, modern AI tools, AI-based higher education, 
career and the use of AI. 

A question-and-answer session was held there to answer various questions from 
the participants.
 
The aim of this programme is to increase awareness and skills about 
artificial intelligence (AI) at all levels across the country.
 
At this event, the importance of responsible and effective use of AI in 
higher education in Bangladesh was highlighted. 

In addition, the commitment to further expand the 'AI for All' initiative to 
prepare students and teachers for a technology-driven future was expressed.
 
Teachers, students, researchers, representatives of the industrial sector and 
other concerned persons of Rajshahi University were present at the event.
