RAJSHAHI, Aug 7, 2026 (BSS) - The reception, farewell, award and scholarship distribution ceremony of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Rajshahi University (RU) was held today.
 
The event was held this afternoon at the auditorium of the Shahid Sukharanjan Samaddar Teacher-Student Cultural Center (TSCC).

The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid attended the event as the chief guest while former professors of the department Abul Hashem and Mamunul Keramat were present as special guests.
 
The event was presided over by the Chairman of the Department, Professor Syed Mostafizur Rahman. Among others, Professor A. B. M. Ismail and Professor Khandaker Mamunur Rashid spoke on the occasion.

Four students of the department were given the Reunion 2011 Award, one student each was given the Afurannesa Scholarship and the Khatir Mohammad Scholarship, and two students were given the Professor S R Khan Scholarship, at the ceremony.
