DHAKA, Aug 6, 2026 (BSS) - A three-month nationwide healthcare campaign titled “Health Express” has been launched to expand access to advanced ultrasound technology and raise awareness among clinicians in underserved tier 3 and tier 4 cities in Bangladesh with limited healthcare infrastructure and technologies.

The campaign, launched by Wipro GE Healthcare, will begin in Bogura as its first destination and travel across more than 20 districts across the country.

The initiative is designed to deliver wider access to healthcare technologies at people’s doorsteps and create greater awareness to help improve the quality of patient care, said a press release today.

Through live demonstrations on functional equipment and hands-on exposure to advanced imaging technologies, the campaign seeks to equip clinicians with advanced ultrasound technologies to improve diagnostic accuracy and streamline clinical workflows.

As part of the drive, Wipro GE Healthcare will showcase its latest ultrasound technologies through interactive product demonstrations, educational sessions and opportunities for collaboration between clinicians and industry experts to discuss key healthcare challenges and solutions.

Business Head - Ultrasound, Wipro GE Healthcare Anup Kumar Ramachandran said, “We believe quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Through the Health Express initiative, our experts connect directly with frontline clinicians with an aim to strengthen the delivery of care in underserved markets.”

He added “By showcasing how advanced ultrasound technologies can support earlier and more informed clinical decisions, we hope to build greater awareness, enhance clinical capabilities, and improve access to quality care.”

He continued “Through this initiative, we continue to advance our mission of enabling ‘healthcare for all’ by supporting clinicians and communities with the tools and knowledge needed to deliver better patient outcomes.”

The company said the Health Express initiative reflects Wipro GE Healthcare’s continued commitment to expanding access to healthcare technologies and strengthening healthcare delivery through education, awareness and innovation.

It said the initiative aims to promote greater adoption of advanced diagnostic solutions and help build a more equitable healthcare ecosystem by engaging directly with clinicians across Bangladesh.
