DHAKA, July 24, 2026 (BSS) - Five more children have died with suspected measles in the past 24 hours across the country, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The number of suspected measles cases recorded during the past 24 hours stood at 950, while the total number of suspected cases reached 122,150 between March 15 and July 24, DGHS said in a press release today. 

During the past 24 hours, 187 measles cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15,194 over the same period.

No deaths from confirmed measles were reported during the past 24 hours. Between March 15 and July 24, a total of 95 deaths from confirmed measles have been recorded.
