RAJSHAHI, July 20, 2026 (BSS)- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Mechatronics Engineering (MTE) departments of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and Khwaja Yunus Ali University.
 
The signing ceremony was organized today in the conference room of the Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at RUET.
 
Through this agreement, the concerned departments of both universities will work jointly to enhance academic cooperation, achieve excellence in research, and increase innovation and industrial partnership.
 
On behalf of the Mechatronics Engineering Department of RUET, the agreement was signed by the Head of the Department and Associate Professor Md. Firoz Ali, and on behalf of the Mechatronics Engineering Department of Khwaja Yunus Ali University, by the Head of the Department and Assistant Professor Sumaiya Shahria.
 
After the signing ceremony, representatives of both universities said that efforts are being made to bring the Mechatronics Engineering departments of all engineering universities in Bangladesh under one umbrella.

If this is possible, students of the concerned departments will benefit and it will be possible to bring about a qualitative change in education and research.
 
Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of RUET, Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Director of IQAC Professor Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering of Khwaja Yunus Ali University Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahed Akand, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Science Professor Dr. Fazle Rabbi Shakil Ahmed and others were present.
