DHAKA, July 19, 2026 (BSS) - BSS Staff Reporter Mutaher Hussain has been appointed president of the managing committee of Nilkhet Government Primary School in the capital.

The three-year committee has appointed the school's Head Teacher, Jannatul Naima, as member secretary.

The information was disclosed in a notification issued today by the Office of the Dhaka District Primary Education Officer.

According to the notification, signed by Dhaka District Primary Education Officer Md. Nurul Hasan, the managing committee was approved subject to several specific conditions in line with a memorandum of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and a recommendation from the Ramna Thana Education Officer.

The approved 12-member committee includes Sandhya Rani Ghosh as vice-president, Fatema Begum as the secondary school teacher representative, Bilkis Khatun as the general teacher representative and Nurunnahar Begum as the retired teacher representative.

In addition, Bashir Ahmed and Md. Mofizur Rahman have been appointed as male guardian representatives and Shiuli Begum and Amena Akter as female guardian representatives.
