DHAKA, July 12, 2026 (BSS) - On behalf of President Mohammed Shahabuddin, his Military Secretary Major General A S M Bahauddin today paid floral tribute to late former Acting President and Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Dhaka.

Major General Bahauddin placed a wreath on the coffin of Jamiruddin Sircar on behalf of the President, paying respect to the late leader.

Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar, a veteran politician, passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here.
