Dhaka, July 12, 2026 (BSS) – The Namaz-e-Janaza of former Acting President and former Speaker Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar will be held at 5:00 pm today at South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.

Later, the BNP Standing Committee Member and senior lawyer Barrister Sircar will be buried at the designated premises of the Jatiya Sangsad, according to a parliament secretariat press release.

Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar passed away at a private hospital in the capital at 4:19 am today at the age of 94.
