DHAKA, July 7, 2026 (BSS) - The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee has directed all authorities concerned at examination centres to exercise the highest level of vigilance at every stage of receiving, storing, transporting and distributing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination question papers to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the ongoing examinations while maintaining the utmost confidentiality of the question papers.

The directive was issued today through an order signed by the committee's convener and Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller, Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu.

According to the directive issued to the officers-in-charge of all HSC examination centres across the country, utmost caution must be exercised at every stage, from receiving the question papers at the centres to distributing them among examinees in the examination halls, to ensure the proper conduct of the examinations.

The directive stated that no examination hall may be supplied with more question papers than required. After distribution, all unused question papers must be secured immediately in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Under no circumstances may any question paper, or any part of it, be taken outside the examination hall.

The committee also urged all officials, invigilators and other personnel concerned with the examinations to strictly comply with these instructions.
