CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY, July 2 (BSS) - Joint General Secretary of the Chittagong University (CU) Chhatra Dal and Assistant General Secretary (AGS) of the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) Ayobur Rahman Tawfick urged the university administration and the government to establish a specialized hospital on the CU campus.
He said, “Our CU Medical Centre lacks specialist doctors and an adequate supply of essential medicines. On behalf of CUCSU, I urge the university administration and the government to establish a well-equipped hospital on our campus where students can receive all kinds of medical services.”
Tawfick made the demand while speaking to journalists following the inauguration of a day-long free medical camp organized by CUCSU in collaboration with Chattogram Metropolitan Hospital at the university’s Buddhijibi Chattar around 12:00 pm today (Thursday).
