KHULNA, June 28, 2026 (BSS) - An exhibition showcasing innovative ideas to digitalise, automate and improve the quality of administrative services at 
Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) was held on the university campus today.

The exhibition was organised at Room 101 of the Student Welfare Centre at 3.30 pm, according to a university press release.

KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Masud inaugurated the exhibition and said innovation and technology-driven services are the key driving forces of 
a modern university.

He stressed that digital transformation of administrative services is essential to build KUET into a smart, student-friendly and research-oriented 
institution.

"The creative and innovative ideas of teachers, students, officers and employees will further accelerate this journey," he said.

The vice-chancellor also expressed hope that the innovative ideas presented at the exhibition would open up new horizons in the university's 
administrative and academic services in the future.

A total of 30 participants from different departments and offices of the university presented and submitted their innovative proposals.

The ideas focused on digitalisation of administrative activities, modernisation of service delivery systems, automation of institutional 
operations and simplification of public services.

The submitted proposals will be reviewed by an expert evaluation committee, which will select the best innovative ideas for awards to be presented on 
June 30. 

Deans, institute directors, department heads, hall provosts, directors, chairpersons, office and section heads, members of the evaluation committee 
and the university's innovation team attended the exhibition.

The university administration expressed optimism that such initiatives would further promote a culture of innovation and creativity at KUET and help make 
its services more efficient, transparent, technology-driven and responsive through implementation of the best ideas.
