DHAKA, June 21, 2026 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has issued a stern warning to prevent any programme or attempt to create chaos centering the founding anniversary of the activities of banned political party Awami League (AL) on June 23.

Replying to a question at a press briefing at the RAB-2 office regarding the arrest of Maura Sohail with weapons, RAB-2 Commander Naimul Hasan said that anyone attempting to create a chaotic situation centering on June 23 would be brought to book.

“The members of the RAB will prevent it at any cost, and no one will be given any concession,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commander of RAB-2 Squadron Leader Nifaz Ahmed said police headquarters has also issued the highest alert across the country, instructing members of law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert to prevent any kind of chaotic situation.
