RAJSHAHI, June 20, 2026 (BSS)- The closing and certificate-giving ceremony of the 2026 Artificial Insemination and Reproduction Management Training 
Programme, organized by Rajshahi University (RU) and BRAC, was held this afternoon.

The event took place at Narikelbaria campus of the RU.
 
On the occasion, Proctor Professor Mahbubur Rahman was present as the chief guest, while Prof Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, chairman of the Department of 
Veterinary and Animal Sciences, attended as special guest. 

Course Coordinator Prof Jalal Uddin Sardar of the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences presided over the ceremony.
 
At the event, the guests distributed certificates and practice kits to the course participants.
 
Course instructors and faculty members from various departments of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and the Faculty of Agriculture were 
also present.
 
A total of 38 participants from 21 districts took part in this two-month-long training for Artificial Insemination Service Provider (AISP).
 
This was the 12th batch of the programme. A total of 462 people have, so far, received training under this programme.
