DHAKA, June 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Secretary General and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal can play a key role in implementing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's vision, 'Sobar Agye Bangladesh'.

He made the remarks while talking to journalists after paying homage at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and late Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Zia Udyan in the capital.

Earlier, Mirza Fakhrul, along with members of the newly constituted central committee of Juba Dal, paid homage at the graves. Leaders and activists of the organisation from different levels were present on the occasion.

The minister said the country's youth must take the lead in building a developed, prosperous and democratic Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

He said the future of Bangladesh would be shaped by its youth. Following the ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and the path shown by late Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, the country would move further forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
