DHAKA, June 06, 2026 (BSS)- Three more children died with measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours.

Total number of suspected cases was 915 while number of confirmed cases was 117 during this period, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With this figure, total number of suspected measles cases in the country from March 15 to June 6 reached to 77,791. Total number of confirmed cases since March 15 is 9,620.

So far 63,134 suspected patients were admitted to hospitals and 58,964 of them recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the last 24 hours. Since March 15, a total of 91 deaths have been recorded from confirmed measles.

During the last 24 hours, three deaths were reported among suspected measles cases, bringing the total number of deaths with suspected measles since March 15 to 522.

Highest number of suspected measles cases has been recorded in Dhaka Division, where 36,415 people were reported with suspected infection. Of them, 6,680 were confirmed cases.
