DHAKA, June 3, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj today said the government is working to establish a coordinated and accountable framework to ensure quality education for all students across the country.
“To this end, all English medium schools in the country are being brought under a uniform policy,” he said while visiting ‘The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka’ here.
Bobby Hajjaj said this initiative has been taken to ensure the quality of education, excellence in teaching, safety of students, institutional accountability and national interest.
Stressing the need for eliminating inequality in education, he said the government wants to establish such an inclusive education system where the students of Bangla medium, English version or English medium will have the opportunity to acquire national values, civic responsibility and international standard skills.
The state minister said, “We want to establish an education system where students will not just chase after achieving good results in examination; rather, they will learn to think independently, learn to innovate and learn to lead the future generation.”
He said these young people will lead the future Bangladesh, so “one of our main goals is to develop them with world-class skills, moral values and creativity”.
Bobby Hajjaj visited the 'Student Exhibition’ there and observed the various research, innovative projects and creative presentations of the students with deep interest and praised their talent.
Lauding the institution's modern education system, student-centered teaching and leadership development programmes, he called upon the authorities concerned to further expand research, innovation and creative education programmes in educational institutions of the country.
Teachers and students of The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka and senior officials of the ministry were present.
