DHAKA, May 14, 2026 (BSS) - The government has approved establishment of ‘Thakurgaon Medical College' in Thakurgaon district.

The Medical Education and Family Welfare Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a notification on Wednesday in this regard, which comes into immediate effect.

After the government's approval, now the country's 38th medical college will be established in Thakurgaon.
