CHATTOGRAM, May 12, 2026 (BSS) - A ship carrying crude oil from Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates is scheduled to arrive at Chattogram Port soon.
The ship, named ‘MT Fossil’, is carrying 100,000 tonnes of crude oil and departed for Chattogram on Monday evening, Bangladesh time.
Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) Managing Director Commodore Mahmudul Malek said that, if all goes as planned, the ship will reach Chattogram Port on May 23.
Earlier, on May 6, the oil tanker ‘MT Ninemia’ arrived at the Qutubdia Channel from Yanbu Port in Saudi Arabia carrying 100,000 tonnes of crude oil.
