Orientation of new batches held at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College

DHAKA, May 4, 2026 (BSS) – An orientation programme for the newly enrolled students of MBBS batch HF-27 and BDS batch HFD-14 was held at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College with the theme “Naba anonde jago, aji nabin probhate” (Awaken in new joy, on this fresh morning) at the college auditorium yesterday.

Teachers of the college, along with the Holy Family Alumni Association and students of the immediate previous batches HF-26 and HFD-13, warmly welcomed the newcomers, said a press release today. 

The college authorities received them with flowers, new aprons and special gifts, marking the formal beginning of their journey in medical education.

At the programme, teachers provided an overview of the first phase of the academic curriculum. They also delivered motivational speeches and guidance to inspire the new students to remain committed along their long academic path.

College’s Principal Professor Dr KM Mujibul Haque and Vice-Principal Professor Dr Meherun Nesa, along with other concerned teachers, were present.

The programme concluded with an oath-taking ceremony, through which the new students formally pledged their commitment to the noble profession of medical service, marking the beginning of their new journey.
