KHULNA, May 3, 2026 (BSS) - Members of the athletics team of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) paid a courtesy call on Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Masud ahead of the inter-university athletic competition to be held at Islamic University.

The meeting was held at the Vice Chancellor's office in the university's administrative building on Sunday noon.

During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor handed over university jerseys to the team members and wished them success in the competition.

Among others, Director of Student Welfare Office Prof Dr Md Hasan Ali, Acting Deputy Director Rajan Kumar Raha, Acting Deputy Director Md Mahmudul Alam, Assistant Director Shah Muhammad Azmat Ullah and Physical Education Officer Syed Raihanul Islam were present.

Physical Education Trainer Md Azizur Rahman will accompany the team as manager and coach to provide overall support to the athletes.

The KUET team members participating in the competition are Nikhil Ranjan Roy of Civil Engineering Department, Suwaib Talukdar of Architecture Department, Imdadul Haque of CSE Department, AHM Ahsan Habib of Leather Engineering Department, Ariful Islam Sheikh of CSE Department and Tritam Ghosh of IEM Department.
