DHAKA, April 29, 2026 (BSS) - The National University (NU) has permitted the sale of evaluated answer scripts for the 2024 Honours 1st year examinations in accordance with university regulations.

Chief Examiners of the university will be able to sell these answer scripts, which are preserved with them, subject to specific conditions, said a press release from the Office of the Controller of Examinations of the university today.

The notification said that Chief Examiners can sell only the remaining portion of the original answer script after detaching the OMR part on the cover page.

Under no circumstances can the OMR part be sold. To avoid potential complications, instructions have been given to destroy this OMR part under the direct supervision of the Chief Examiner.

“The Chief Examiners will receive the entire amount obtained from the sale of answer scripts. However, the notification noted that this received amount will be adjusted against the respective examiner's payable bills,” it added.

For any information regarding National University examinations, all concerned have been requested not to rely on information from any source other than the university's official website (nu.ac.bd).
