DHAKA, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - 27,325 Hajj pilgrims so far from Bangladesh reached Saudi Arabia in the four days of Hajj travel, according to the Hajj bulletin.
A total of 58 flights arrived in Jeddah by 10am on today, Director of Bangladesh Hajj Office Lokman Hossain informed.
Lokman said this year, 78,500 people from Bangladesh have been allowed to perform Hajj. Of them, 660 agencies are responsible for managing Hajj under the private arrangement, including 30 lead agencies and 630 coordinating agencies.
According to airline-wise data, 10,747 pilgrims arrived on 26 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 9,782 on 125 flights of Saudi Airlines and 6,796 on 117 flights of Flynas Airlines.
The remaining 50,964 Hajj pilgrims will reach gradually with designated Airlines, the director said.
According to hajj office information, a total of 4,565 pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government management and 73,935 under the private arrangement.
Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj will be held in Saudi Arabia on May 26.
