RAJSHAHI, April 16, 2026 (BSS) - The closing and certificate-giving ceremony of the 2026 Artificial Insemination and Reproductive Management Training Programme, organised by Rajshahi University (RU) and BRAC, was held this afternoon.

The event took place at RU’s Narikelbaria campus.

Guests included Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Mohammad Main Uddin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Farid Uddin Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Professor Khandaker Mozaffar Hossain, Chairman of the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Professor Mahbubur Rahman, and BRAC AI Enterprise Veterinary Surgeon Dr Al Helal Mondol.

The programme was chaired by Course Coordinator and Professor of the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Md Jalal Uddin Sardar.

At the ceremony, the guests distributed certificates and practical kits among the course participants. Faculty members of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, along with teachers from various departments of the Faculty of Agriculture, were also present.

A total of 45 participants took part in the two-month training programme, which marked the 11th batch of the course.
