DHAKA, April 13, 2026 (BSS) - Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma today met Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon at his office at the Secretariat here.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to mutual interests of the two neighbouring countries in detail. 

In the beginning, the Indian envoy warmly congratulated Zahir Uddin Swapan on assuming the charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 

During the discussion, they emphasised the need to enhance communication at various levels to strengthen Bangladesh-India relations.
