KHULNA, Apr 7, 2026 (BSS) - Smartboards are being newly introduced across different disciplines at Khulna University to enhance modern teaching and learning facilities.

A workshop was held this morning to familiarize teachers with the features of the smartboards and ensure their effective use.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Rezaul Karim attended the inaugural session as the chief guest.

He said the university curriculum must be modernized and made time-befitting to face future challenges. 
As part of this initiative, smartboards and computer labs are being set up in every discipline.

Describing smartboards as an essential technology, he urged all concerned to become aware and skilled in their proper use. 

At the workshop, resource person Sakib Hasan from Hikvision Bangladesh presented various technical aspects of using smartboards.

Among others, Prof Dr Md. Zakir Hossain and Prof Dr Kazi Saiful Islam attended the event along with teachers from different disciplines.
