RAJSHAHI, April 7, 2026 (BSS) - World Health Day 2026 was observed at Rajshahi University with various programmes under the theme "Together for Health, Stand with Science".

Marking the day, a colourful rally titled "Ride for Awareness" and a leaflet distribution programme were organised this morning by the Health and Food Safety Association-Rajshahi University (HFSA-RU), a health awareness organisation.

The rally began at 7:00am from the university's administrative building premises. It paraded the main roads on the campus before concluding at Shaheed Buddhijibi Square with a brief gathering.

During the rally, members of the organisation distributed leaflets among students, pedestrians and local shopkeepers to raise health awareness.

The leaflets emphasised increasing immunity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle by following scientific information and proper health guidelines.

Teachers and students from various departments of the university, along with volunteers of HFSA-RU and members of RU Cyclists, actively participated in the rally.
