DHAKA, April 4, 2026 (BSS) - Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram has congratulated the Bangladesh U-20 football team for their victory over India in the SAFF U-20 Championship.

In a felicitation message, the Speaker extended congratulations to all players, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh U-20 football team and the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) over the historic victory in the SAFF U-20 Championship.

He also hoped that such winning spree of the U-20 football team would continue in the days to come.

Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal and Chief Whip Nurul Islam in separate messages also congratulated the U-20 football team for their historic win.

Bangladesh clinched the title of SAFF U-20 Championship beating India by 4-3 goals in penalty shoot-out in the nail-biting final held at National Football Stadium in Male, Maldives yesterday.
