According to a directive signed by DSHE Assistant Director S. M. Ziaul Haider Henry, the demand must include textbooks for ‘Ibtedayi’, secondary level (Bangla and English versions), Dakhil, SSC and Dakhil Vocational as well as technical level.
The directive has been sent to all regional deputy directors of the directorate.
Earlier, the Directorate requested the concerned authorities to take the necessary steps following a directive issued by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) on March 5.
According to the directive, upazila and thana secondary education offices have been asked to submit their textbook demand between March 4 and March 16. The deadline for district secondary education offices is March 29, while the offices of deputy directors (secondary) must submit the demand by March 31.
The directive said the demand for textbooks must be submitted online through the designated NCTB web application (https://nctb.ihealthscreen.org).
DSHE said no hard copy or soft copy sent via e-mail will be accepted.
