DHAKA, Mar 11, 2026 (BSS) - Instructions have been issued regarding the entry and parking arrangements for invited guests attending the first session of the 13th National Parliament to be held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban tomorrow.
According to the directive, the Manipuri Para Gate (Gate No. 6), Bakultala Gate (Gate No. 12) and Asad Gate (Gate No. 1) of the Parliament complex will remain open for the entry of invited guests.
However, to avoid traffic congestion and ensure smooth entry into the Parliament premises, guests have been requested to use Bakultala Gate and Asad Gate instead of Manipuri Para Gate, where heavier traffic is expected.
Invited guests have been requested to park their vehicles at designated locations according to the car stickers-Padma, Meghna, Jamuna, Shapla, Bakul, Shiuli and Shimul-provided with their invitations.
Vehicles bearing Padma, Meghna, Jamuna and Shapla stickers will be allowed to park at different spots inside the Parliament complex.
Meanwhile, vehicles with Bakul, Shimul and Shiuli stickers will have to park at the old trade fair ground near the Parliament area.
Vehicles belonging to electronic and print media outlets must be parked in a single line along the main road of Manik Mia Avenue.
All invited guests will be required to alight from their vehicles at Tunnel Road and enter the parliament building on foot.
Guests have been requested to disembark quickly to avoid congestion, and drivers or accompanying persons have been advised not to get out of the vehicles.
Authorities have also urged all honored guests and concerned individuals to strictly follow the instructions provided by the Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police at entry gates and designated parking areas.
