RAJSHAHI, Dec 31, 2021 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one more fatality in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a resident of Chapainawabganj and he died with Covid-19 infection.

   Meanwhile, three more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 25, including seven tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Three other patients returned home after being cured during the same time. On the other hand, four more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 196 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Thursday, showing a 2.04 percent infection rate.
