DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) - The visiting Turkish election observer delegation paid a courtesy call on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today.

The meeting took place in the evening at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan, according to BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

Among those present on behalf of the BNP were Chairman Tarique Rahman, Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir and the Chairperson's Adviser Enamul Haque Chowdhury.

The Turkish election observer delegation included the head of delegation, Mehmet Akif Yılmaz (MP), along with Burhan Kayatürk (MP), Osman Mesten (MP), Adem Yıldırım (MP), Ali Fazıl Kasap (MP), Ayşe Sibel Ersoy (MP), and Mehmet Vakur Erkul, the former Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh (2010–2013).
