  DHAKA, Dec 27, 2021 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan 
Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of heroic 
freedom fighter and Awami League Advisory Council member Joynal Hazari.

  In a condolence message, the minister said veteran politician Hazari was 
also the general secretary of Awami League Feni district unit for over 20 
years from 1984 to 2004. He was elected lawmaker with Awami League ticket 
from Feni-2 constituency in 1986, 1991 and 1996, he added. 

  He said Hazari was also an advisory council member of Awami League from 
2019. He was the founder publisher and editor of the daily Hazari, a local 
newspaper of Feni, said Hasan, also the Awami League joint general secretary.

  The minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed 
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

  Hazari died of old-age complications at a city hospital today at the age of 
75.
