DHAKA, Feb 01, 2026 (BSS) - The National University (NU) has extended the online application period for the 1st year (honors) admission programme for the 2025-2026 academic year until February 22.

 "Interested students can apply until 12 midnight on February 22 for the 1st year (honors) programme for the 2025-2026 academic year," according to the new schedule of the NU issued here today.

Dean (Acting) of the University's School of Undergraduate Education Professor Dr Md Abuddarda signed the notification.

It said that candidates seeking admission will have to fill the initial application form online from the university's website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions). The application fee must be submitted through mobile banking designated by the concerned college or directly by February 23.

According to the revised schedule for Honors admission, the last date for collecting initial applications and forms online is February 22, while the last date for submitting application fee (Tk.1,000) is February 23.

The last date for confirming online applications by the college is February 24 while the date for submitting the university copy of the fee to Sonali Bank is February 25 to March 4, it said.

The date, time and center for admission test will be announced later through a notification. The terms and guidelines will be found on the university's website.
