GAIBANDHA, Jan 30, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman urged the voters to cast their votes in favor of sheaf of paddy to help win BNP nominated candidate Professor Dr. Mainul Hasan Sadik in a bid to ensure over all development of Gaibandha-3 constituency (Palashbari-Sadullapurupazila). 

He made the appeal to the voters of the constituency while he was addressing a roadside meeting in Palashbari upazila town in the district while passing through the upazila town on the way to Rangpur this afternoon. 

In the meeting, Tarique Rahman also introduced Dr Sadik to the people standing on the both sides of the highway and sought votes in favor of the candidate. 

Earlier, the people from all walks of life including the activists of BNP and its front organizations stood on both sides of the road to see Tarique Rahman at a glance and greeted him by waving and chanting slogans ‘Tarique Rahman agiyecholo, Amra achhi tomar sathe. Tarique Bhoy Nai, Raz poth Chhari Nai’.

Semiliar programme was also held at Gobindaganj upazila town of the district while passing through the upazila town this afternoon.
