DHAKA, Jan 24, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today said that to rebuild the country, more opportunities and platforms must be created for Bangladeshi youths where they can find pathways to leadership.

He made the remarks in a post on his verified Facebook page today.

In the post, Tarique Rahman said, "Today, I sat in a very lively and inspiring gathering with young content creators and thoughtful young people at Justice Shahabuddin Park in Dhaka. Not standing on a stage or behind barricades, but under the open sky. Through our discussions, I understood what kind of new politics the youth actually want."

He said he listened attentively to young participants from different parts of the country who took part in the 'My Vision of Bangladesh' reel competition. From education and employment to environmental protection, women's empowerment and the dream of a corruption-free Bangladesh, he noted that their ideas were powerful and thoughtful.

Mentioning the competition, Tarique Rahman said that more than 2,200 reels were submitted and the discussions were realistic and profound.

"These young voices prove that our youth are fully prepared to take part in national policymaking," he said, adding that to shape the future of the country, it is essential to create more opportunities and space for Bangladeshi youth so that they can emerge as leaders.
