CUET admission test results published

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 23, 2026 (BSS) - Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has published the results of its undergraduate first-year admission test for the 2025-26 academic year.

The merit list includes 9,498 candidates for Engineering departments and Urban and Regional Planning, 28 candidates from small ethnic groups in the hilly regions of Chattogram and other districts, and two candidates from the Rakhine community. 

In the Architecture department, 303 candidates have been placed on the main merit list, along with one candidate from small ethnic groups of hilly Chattogram and other districts. The results were posted on the CUET admission website this morning.

All candidates on the merit list must visit the admission website (https://admissioncuet.ac.bd) between 10:00 am on February 1 and 11:59 pm on February 10 to submit required information and department preferences through the online choice form. 

Candidates applying for Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning departments must submit a preference list of 11 choices, while Architecture candidates are exempt from this requirement.

The first phase of admission will begin on February 25. Selected candidates are required to appear before the inspection committee in person between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm to complete the admission process by submitting the necessary documents. Certificates will be verified on the same day, followed by a health check-up.

To finalize the admission, a fee of TK 18,500 must be deposited at the Sonali Bank CUET branch by 3:00 pm the next day, with departmental verification required by 10:00 am. 

Candidates may also deposit the fee on the day of the health examination with prior authorization. Information on admitted candidates, total vacant seats, and the list of candidates selected for the next phase will be published on the admission website on March 1. 

The admission process will continue until the orientation day, depending on seat availability.

Professor Kazi Delwar Hossain, President of the Admission Committee, said, "All processes have been smoothly completed, and exam results have been promptly released."

The CUET admission test for the first-year undergraduate program was held on January 17. A total of 12,099 candidates took the test for 931 seats, including 11 reserved seats, across 12 departments under the faculties of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Architecture and Planning.
